Tubman Square Neighborhood Plan

rePLACE partnered with Audible (an Amazon company) to improve the northern potions of downtown Newark, NJ. Proposals ranged from small-scale infill developments to large infrastructure projects.

Quartier

rePLACE is serving as architect and developer for a 70,000 square-foot mixed-use development in New Canaan, CT. Located a quarter-mile from the Metro-North train station, the recently approved project includes condos, townhouses, retail space, and private courtyards.

Micro/Infill Housing

rePLACE is working to alleviate our nationwide housing crisis by deploying easy to build, naturally-affordable homes that can infill vacant lots and re-densify our urban centers.

In 2019, rePLACE designed and documented a 20,000 square-foot mixed-use project in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Live-Work Analysis NYC

rePLACE Urban Studio was commissioned by the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) to analyze the potential for implementing "live-work" typologies in New York City.

Ex.0

The Ex.0 offers a novel approach to affordable housing in our cities. By unlocking vacant residential spaces without disrupting existing ground-level retail space, the Ex.0 provides inexpensive housing for buildings and neighborhoods in transition.

Unboxing Culture

The NJPAC Cultural District will be a 7-acre mixed-use development that includes performing art space, galleries, retail, and over 1,000 residential apartments.

Center for the Community

rePLACE recently partnered with the Urban League of Essex County, a non-profit organization in Newark, NJ to create a strategy that leverages nearby real estate in order to operate their new community center in perpetuity.
